Open Settings from the main nav. The home pane asks What would you like to manage? and lists every shortcut in one place. The side list matches those labels. Workspace changes are Admin only except your own name on My profile.
Prerequisites
- Sign in to the workspace.
- To change workspace settings, you must be an Admin or Owner. Standard users see the banner Admin only — Standard users can't change settings.
How to open a pane
- Open Settings.
- Press a shortcut under Quick shortcuts, or a label in the side list.
- Edit the fields on that pane.
- When the unsaved-changes bar appears, press Save changes or Discard.
Scheduled Reports uses its own forms (not that save bar). Mailbox connect lives on a sidecar page: Mailbox & Chase Email.
Settings panes (current labels)
- Home — “What would you like to manage?”
- My profile — your name, email, password, and two-factor. Email change needs your current password (and a two-factor code if 2FA is on). Press Save name, Send confirmation, Update password, or Manage for two-factor.
- Business profile — business name, phone, address, and logo.
- Localisation — country, base currency, timezone, and date format.
- Email sending — from-name plus Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 / SMTP cards that say Manage in Connections. There is no PayBlah shared-domain sender. See the email-sending guide.
- SMS & sender ID — sender name, registration-by-territory, messaging-responsibility acceptance, and the country-code note. This is status and registration, not a how-to for sending texts. Live SMS stays gated: global master off by default, plan allowance, territory, and the tenant switch must all be on. Trial has no customer SMS under that master-off posture. Do not treat this pane as launched text chasing.
- Reminder defaults — still the pane name, even though the main nav says Workflows. Timing, quiet hours, contact days, approvals, promises, rate limits, and Stop all automated sending.
- Payment plans & bundles — instalment policy (Pro) and the grouped customer payment view (every plan).
- Import & export — connected sources, age cutoff, import, and the full ZIP export.
- Notifications — email and in-app operational alerts. Separate from Scheduled Reports.
- Scheduled Reports — weekly or monthly digests to named team members. Separate from Notifications.
- Team — invite people, assign roles, transfer ownership. Invites are Growth+ when the product says so.
- Plan & billing — plan, usage, and links to full billing. Capacity is active invoice spaces, not a money cap.
- API & webhooks — keys, scopes, webhook management. PayBlah does not provide a native Zapier connection.
- Apps — only when App Hub is enabled for this installation. Otherwise the pane is absent.
Expected result
The pane you chose stays open after save (including after a refresh that restores ?pane=). Mode and chasing changes take effect after Save changes — the product warns you when automatic versus manual chasing would start behaving differently.
If a pane is missing or locked
- Apps missing — App Hub is off for this installation.
- A Pro or Growth badge beside a control — your plan does not include that setting; the control is disabled.
- Standard user — you can read status on some panes (for example the kill switch) but cannot change workspace settings.
What this will not do
- It will not merge Notifications and Scheduled Reports into one pane.
- It will not rename Reminder defaults to Workflows. Workflows is the main nav; Reminder defaults is the Settings pane.
- It will not launch SMS sending from the SMS pane.
