A workspace is one isolated PayBlah book. Your login can belong to several. Invoices, Customers, Workflows, team access, and provider connections never mix between them.
Who can do this
- Switch: any member of more than one ready workspace.
- Add: Admin or Owner, and the current plan must be Business or Enterprise. Standard members see Ask an Admin to add or manage business workspaces.
Open Workspaces
- Sign in, then click Switch Business in the sidebar (or go to
/workspaces). - Read the heading Choose a workspace and the list Business workspaces.
- Each row shows the business name, country · currency · Owner or role, and a status pill (including Current or Preparing). The list does not show a plan name column.
Switch to another business
- On the workspace you want, click Switch.
- If you are already in that book, use Open dashboard instead.
- A workspace that is not ready shows a disabled Preparing button.
After a successful switch the flash is Business switched. The session now shows only that book’s Dashboard, Customers, and Workflows.
Add another business
- If create is allowed, open Add another business.
- Enter Business name (2–200 characters).
- Click Add business.
Country and currency are inherited from your first accepted membership. They are not fields on this form. The new book starts blank. Existing invoices, contacts, provider credentials, and payments are never copied. If create is not allowed, an Admin sees Additional business workspaces are included with Business and Enterprise. and See Business plan.
What you should see
You stay on Workspaces while the isolated database is prepared. When the row is ready, Switch into it and complete setup there. Nothing auto-sends.
If something goes wrong
- Still Preparing: wait and refresh. Do not retry create unless the product says the first attempt failed.
- Wrong book after switch: open Switch Business again.
- Need a no-send sandbox inside the current book? That is
/demo, not a second workspace.
What this will not do
- Does not merge Customers or invoices across workspaces.
- Does not let Standard users create businesses.
- Does not silently create extra books on Starter, Growth, or Pro.
