PayBlah bills your business for the subscription. That money is separate from what your customers pay you. Capacity is a count of invoices in active follow-up, not the pounds, euros or dollars on those invoices.
Prerequisites
- You can sign in to the workspace.
- To change plan or buy a pack, you must be an Admin.
- Cards show the currency on the billing account (USD, EUR or GBP).
How to read Compare plans
- Open Billing.
- Press Compare Plans if you are an Admin, or View Plans if you are not. The page heading is Compare plans.
- Or open Settings → View plan → Plan & billing → Compare plans.
- Choose Monthly or Annual with the 2 months free badge.
- Read each card’s active overdue invoice spaces number, seats, and feature ticks. Self-serve cards use Choose Starter, Choose Growth, Choose Pro or Choose Business. Enterprise uses Contact us.
List prices (ex-tax)
Displayed prices are ex-tax list prices. Tax is determined later at checkout for your billing country. These figures are the approved v3 book — not older 29 / 47 / 49 / 89 / 149 materials.

Annual is exactly ten monthly payments in the same currency (pay for 10, get 12). Compare plans can print the saving versus 12× monthly.
What is enforced
- The enforced limit is active invoices you can manage at once — not an overdue money total, not “balance chased”, and not a chase-count of messages sent.
- Invoice value is unlimited on every plan. The notes under the cards say so.
- Paused, promised, disputed and part-paid invoices still use a space. Waiting to Start does not. Paid, settled or closed invoices free a space. See Read your usage and capacity meter.
- When the plan is full, extra eligible invoices wait. PayBlah does not auto-upgrade or auto-charge you past the limit.
- Older balance-cap figures may still exist as leftover metadata. They are not public capacity and must not be used as a plan limit.
USD capacity packs
On Compare plans, the heading is Capacity packs — extra spaces without changing plan features or limiting invoice value. Maximum two active packs. Packs are billed by PayBlah, separately from the payment provider your customers use.

- Purchasable only on a USD billing account with an active paid subscription, fewer than two packs already active, and a connected chargeable provider.
- EUR and GBP accounts cannot buy packs. The storefront reason is: Capacity packs are currently available only for USD billing. PayBlah does not invent or auto-convert EUR or GBP prices. There is no published EUR/GBP pack price.
- When purchase is blocked, the button is disabled Unavailable. When it is allowed, the button is Add pack.
- Spaces are added only after paid provider verification — not when you press the button.
Feature ticks (high level)
Compare plans ticks six catalogue rows. Trust the ticks on your card rather than a remembered list:

- Payment links & portal — catalogue target is Growth+, but the current invoice action is not rank-gated; a usable tenant payment connection is still required

- Approval routing & multi-entity
Starter includes one seat. Growth and above show unlimited seats on the card. New payment plans are a Pro-and-above create gate; existing plans stay readable after a later downgrade. Approval before Firm and Final is included on every plan, on by default, and is never an upgrade.
Email-first launch
Plan cards may still show a Texts / month row from packaging. Launch is email-first. Do not treat SMS, text packs or text overage as something you can use in production today. See Text messaging coming later.
Expected result
You see five columns, your current plan marked, a usage strip of N of L active invoice spaces in use, and — when offered — the Capacity packs block with USD prices or an honest Unavailable reason.
If something looks wrong
- If a card still talks about overdue-balance caps, ignore that line as capacity. The meter that is enforced is active invoice spaces.
- If Choose … is missing and you see Contact us, that tier is not self-serve.
- If checkout or Add pack is refused, read the on-screen reason (Admin gate, currency, tax, mid-term lock, or provider not connected). Nothing is charged when the page says so.
