Portal feedback is optional and payment-scoped. It is not a marketing list, not a second chase, and not how the customer pays you or how you pay PayBlah.
Before you start
- Install Customer Feedback Pulse from Apps and leave the form ready. Install steps live in the Apps guide.
- A receipt invitation appears only after a real payment row exists on the link. A portal part-pay click is not enough.
For the customer
- Complete a payment that PayBlah records (your Stripe Checkout or a payment you later mark).
- On the receipt, if invited, press Share feedback.
- On Payment feedback, choose a rating from 1 (Low) to 5 (High). Optional comment if you enabled comments.
- Press Send Feedback.
After submit they see Feedback received / Thank you and Back to your invoices. Copy says PayBlah does not ask for name or email; the answer stays linked to that paid portal link to prevent duplicates. File uploads are refused.
For you (staff)
- Open the app for current-version summaries.
- One answer per configuration version. Reinstalling does not reopen a second answer on the same payment event.
What you should see
The receipt still shows without a rating. The customer is never blocked from Back to your invoices. Fail-closed: if the app is missing or not ready, they get the same unavailable page as a bad token — no extra explanation that would reveal the workspace.
What this will not do
- Does not email survey campaigns.
- Does not require a rating before a receipt.
- Does not expose App Hub settings on the public portal.
- Does not write a payment or stop chasing by itself.
