Open Settings → My profile. Any team member can edit their own details here; it is not Admin-only.
Change your name
- Edit First name and Last name.
- Press Save name.
Your display name updates across the app. This does not change the trading name on letters or the payment page — that is Business profile.
Change your email
- Your current address is shown read-only. That is still your login until the new inbox confirms.
- Enter the new address in New email address.
- Enter your Current password.
- If two-factor is on, enter a current authenticator, email, or recovery code. Need an email code? Press Email me a code (that sends to your current address and cannot start the change by itself).
- Press Send confirmation.
- Open the confirmation link from the new inbox within 24 hours.
The product always says “If that address can be used, a confirmation link will arrive…” — including when the destination cannot be used — so this screen does not tell you whether an address is taken. Completing the link updates the sign-in email, notifies the old address, and signs you out. Sign in with the new address. Other signed-in browsers end on their next request.
Change your password
- Enter current password, new password (at least 12 characters), and confirmation.
- Press Update password.
This browser stays signed in. Other devices are signed out on their next request. If you are locked out, use Reset by email on this pane, or Forgot password? on the sign-in page — not this form.
How long you stay signed in
- Idle: 2 hours without activity.
- Absolute: 12 hours from sign-in, even if you keep working.
- There is no device list and no “sign out everywhere” button. Changing your password or completing an email change ends other sessions.
Security
Two-factor lives under Security on the same pane — Manage opens the full enrolment page. After you confirm your mailbox, email sign-in codes are already on. In-app help that says two-factor is “off until you turn it on” is not the live default — see the two-factor article.
If something goes wrong
- “Current password is not right” or “Enter your current two-factor code”: prove both before Send confirmation will mint a link.
- “That confirmation link has expired or is not valid”: start the change again from My profile.
- You cannot change another teammate’s profile.
What this will not do
- It will not edit company phone, logo, or trading name — that is Business profile.
- It will not keep you signed in after the new inbox confirms the email change.
- It will not invent a session manager. Idle and absolute clocks above are the whole control.
