Try the safe demo workspace

Open /demo to practice on isolated sample data. Reset demo restores the sample. Connect my business leaves the demo without copying it into your live book.

Plan: Available to signed-in workspace members, including during the 30-day trial. You must already have an account. Isolated demo data never uses active-invoice spaces.

The safe demo is an isolated practice page. Sample customers use addresses that cannot receive mail. Nothing on this page can be sent. It is not the Demo book option on signup.

Who can do this

  • A signed-in member of a workspace. Open it from Setup help → Explore the safe demo, from wizard step 2 Explore the safe demo, or by visiting /demo.
  • Reset and leave remain available even if a trial has ended (read-only fence still allows those two actions).

Enter the safe demo

  1. Click Explore the safe demo or go to /demo.
  2. If demo is not already active, PayBlah loads the isolated snapshot.
  3. Read the banner: You’re exploring a safe demo and Everything on this page is sample data. Nothing here can be sent.

What you should see

Sections: Overview, Invoices, Workflow, Activity. Metrics: Outstanding, Monitoring, Needs attention, Paid after reminders (sample attribution — not money PayBlah collected). Sample invoices are tagged DEMO DATA. The sample Workflow is preview-only; a Firm step shows Requires approval. Typical seed: five companies, six sample invoices, one Balanced Workflow, euro amounts, contacts that are not real mailboxes.

Reset the demo

  1. Click Reset demo on the banner.
  2. Dialog heading: Reset the safe demo?
  3. Choose Cancel or Reset safe demo.

Flash after reset: The safe demo is back at its starting point. Your real setup was not changed. Live Customers, Invoices, Workflows, and connections are untouched.

Leave the demo

  1. Click Connect my business (there is no button labelled Exit).
  2. If you have not finished setup, you return to the current onboarding step. If you already activated, you return to Dashboard.

Leaving does not copy sample rows into your live book.

If something goes wrong

  • If the demo is not ready, PayBlah returns a dedicated The safe demo is still being prepared. page. Wait and open /demo again, or continue live setup.
  • Need real practice data that can later send? That is signup Demo book, documented in Nothing sends until you say so — do not use /demo for that.

What this will not do

  • Does not send email, text, or any other live message. Delivery is refused for isolated demo rows.
  • Does not take a payment or connect a provider from this page.
  • Does not replace or describe any owner showcase tenant.
  • Does not enrol isolated sample invoices on your live Workflow.
