Billing

Your PayBlah invoices and payments

Billing lists your Current Plan, PayBlah subscription invoices (numbers like PB-2026-000042), credit notes, and payments you made to PayBlah. Those documents are not the invoices you chase for customers.

3 of 6 in Billing

Plan: All plans. Every member can read this page. Only an Admin sees Change Plan and Cancel at Period End.

Two money pipes must stay separate:

  • You pay PayBlah — subscription invoices numbered PB-YYYY-###### (for example PB-2026-000042), plus credit notes and payments on this page.
  • Your customers pay you — their AR invoices, payment links and portal receipts. Those never become PayBlah subscription documents, and PayBlah does not hold their funds.

Prerequisites

  • Sign in to the workspace. Billing is readable by every member.
  • To change or cancel the plan, you must be an Admin.
  • There is no tenant screen to update a stored card. Chargeable checkout is hosted by the payment provider.

How to open Billing

  1. Open Billing (full history, cancel, invoices).
  2. Or open SettingsView planPlan & billing for the short meter, then follow Billing for the full ledger.

Current Plan

The top card heading is Current Plan. It shows the tier name, a list price, status (for example active or trialing), billed monthly or yearly, currency, and the period dates when they are set. It also shows Active invoice spaces: used of limit. Invoices Waiting to Start are called out separately and use no space.

If a pending change or cancel is scheduled, the card names the date. Non-Admins see: You can view the account's plan and billing history. Only an Admin can change or cancel the plan.

Confirm the interval on the status line (“billed monthly” / “billed yearly”). Do not treat a “/mo” suffix alone as proof you are on a monthly term.

Invoices (PayBlah → you)

The Invoices table is PayBlah’s bills to your business — not your customer AR register. Issued numbers look like PB-2026-000042 (six digits after the year). Drafts show Draft — not yet issued until a number is allocated.

Columns: Document, Period, Status, Net, Tax, Total, Due. Totals above the table (when present) split Gross billed, Credited, Net billed, Net tax, Cash paid and Due. Credit is a tax correction, not cash. Cash paid never includes credited amounts.

Tax can show a money amount, Reverse charge, or Undetermined. Undetermined is never printed as a confident zero. A tax legend may appear under a row. These treatments are a billing mechanism; confirm them with your own advisor — this page does not say they are compliant VAT.

The page states: PayBlah invoice PDFs are not available yet. Your card statement or bank record remains your payment evidence.

Credit Notes

The Credit Notes heading lists only complete numbered credit notes (against a PayBlah invoice). Incomplete evidence is excluded. Empty copy: No complete credit notes on this account.

Payments

The Payments table lists when money was applied, method, and amount. Empty copy: No payments recorded. Use it to reconcile the SaaS subscription, not customer collections.

Actions

  • Compare Plans (Admin) or View Plans (everyone else).
  • Change Plan — Admin only.
  • Cancel at Period End — Admin only; see Cancel your subscription.

Expected result

You can match PB- documents to what you paid PayBlah, see tax as determined or honestly undetermined, and tell that ledger apart from Invoices in the main nav (your customers’ bills).

If something looks wrong

  • Empty invoices: No PayBlah invoices yet. A trial with no paid convert often has none.
  • Chargeable checkout is refused when tax is not determined — update billing country or VAT evidence first. Nothing is charged.
  • A provider-status line on Current Plan is about PayBlah’s subscription billing, not the connector your customers pay through.
  • If an older screenshot or export still says “Balance chased”, that is leftover metadata, not the capacity meter.
