Connect Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage — or import CSV — so PayBlah can read nine invoice fields and refresh about every 60 minutes.

PayBlah keeps a chasing register that mirrors the invoices you already issue. It is not a second ledger. You connect an accounting package or upload a CSV, then manage reminders against that register.

Where to start

  1. Sign in and open Connections (under Settings / Connections in the product).
  2. Read the intro: PayBlah reads nine things only — company, first name, last name, email, phone, invoice number, amount, due date, and whether it is paid. Nothing else. If letters are off, addresses are not read.
  3. Pick a path:
    • Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage Accounting — Connect buttons on the same page.
    • Import — CSV file upload with column matching (Invoices → Import).
  4. After a live connection, note the schedule: sync about every 60 minutes, with last synced time shown when available.

Connected packages show status lines such as package name, overdue-only scope, interval, and last sync. If credentials expire you may see Needs reconnecting — use Connect/Reconnect from the package list. Disconnect is available when you need to remove the link.

Import path in short

On Import you can upload a .csv up to 5 MB and 2000 rows, then Upload And Match Columns. The first successful mapping teaches PayBlah your headers for the next file. Past imports list created, skipped, and failed counts.

What connection does not do

  • It does not write invoices back into your accounting package as a full bidirectional ERP.
  • It does not start sending the moment data lands. You still go live and enrol.
  • Showcase or sandbox connections may use sample data until a live app grant exists — reconnect when credentials are missing.

Next: connect a specific package, import CSV, or read exactly which fields sync.
