Xero is one of the three accounting packages on Connections. After a live grant, PayBlah imports the nine allowed fields and refreshes on a schedule.

Connect

  1. Sign in → open Connections.
  2. Find Xero in the package list.
  3. Click Connect (or Reconnect if you see Needs reconnecting).
  4. Complete Xero’s authorisation screens for the organisation you want.
  5. Return to PayBlah. The connection card should show Xero, scope such as overdue invoices, every 60 minutes, and a last synced timestamp when a sync has finished.

After connect, open Invoices and Debtors to confirm companies and amounts look right. Dashboard totals update from the same register.

If it says Needs reconnecting

The page may show that the connection has no credentials and Sync needs a live grant. Use Reconnect via the package list. Disconnect is available if you want to remove the link entirely and start again.

Sandbox / showcase note

If the product states it has no app registered with Xero yet, Connect may load sample data rather than your live books. Treat that as exploration only until a live grant is available, then reconnect.

What this does not do

  • Connecting does not email your Xero customers.
  • It does not pull your full chart of accounts or payroll — only the nine invoice-related fields described on Connections.
  • It does not replace reconciling payments in Xero; mark paid / paid flags sync so chasing can stop when the source shows paid.

PayBlah is accounts-receivable automation software. You remain the creditor. Confirm local rules with your own advisor for your territory (US, UK, Ireland, or Australia).
