Plan: Every plan can preview Workflows and Coming Up. Approving Firm/Final is on every plan. SMS and letters remain gated even if a step lists those channels.
Preview is how you avoid surprises. You can read wording and the planned schedule without contacting the customer.
Review content
- Open Workflows and each step’s What it says group.
- If you change library wording, use Edit version → scope + reason → Save new version. Do not expect blur-save.
- Treat every Firm and Final step as something you will later Approve & send in Activity. That hold is not optional.
Review schedule
- Open Dashboard → Coming Up for a multi-day preview of what the scheduler thinks will go out.
- Note items that will need approval at send time.
- Check the next-run chip (Workflows chips also link to Settings).
- Adjust quiet hours on Protections or Settings → Reminder defaults if the volume looks wrong.
Review the customer-facing payment experience
On invoice detail, use Preview what the customer sees when the link is present, and copy the payment link only when you intend to share it.
Expected result
You know which emails are due, which rows will wait in Approvals, and which letter or SMS steps are only queued or gated. Nothing has been sent yet.
What this does not do
- Coming Up is a plan, not a guarantee, if status changes (paid, dispute, untriaged reply) before the run.
- Previewing does not approve a Firm/Final message — open Activity → Approvals for that.
- A Text (SMS) channel on a step does not mean SMS will send. All four switches must be on (estate default off).
- A Letter step does not mean PayBlah posted anything. Print and Mark sent yourself.
