Plan: Published native app. Plan Requirement: Every Plan. Saving an alert level needs the write grant. Critical events stay on.
Realtime Alerts shows fresh PayBlah notifications as toast messages while you work, plus an Alert feed. It does not replace Settings → Notifications email toggles.
Prerequisites
- An Admin has installed Realtime Alerts (Install Realtime Alerts) and the install is Active.
- To change the level, your installation must include the write grant. Otherwise settings are read-only.
Choose an alert level
- Open Apps and Open App on Realtime Alerts, or go to
/apps/realtime-alerts. - Confirm the heading Realtime Alerts and state Listening.
- Under Dial the toast volume, choose one:
- Essential — Critical events only
- Balanced — Money, replies and problems
- Everything — Every granted event
- Custom — Choose event by event
- Critical rows show Always on. You cannot switch them off.
- Press Save alert level.
The right-hand Alert feed lists recent granted alerts, newest first.
Expected result
Toasts follow the level you saved. Critical stop, sync, and account alerts stay on. The core notification feed continues even if this app is later paused.
If alerts are off or read-only
- Realtime alerts are off. — install is missing, paused, or not allowed to run. Core notifications continue.
- Settings are read-only — you lack the write grant. Ask an Admin.
What this will not do
- It does not send customer reminders.
- It does not mute critical safety alerts.
- On remove: live App Hub polling stops immediately. Core notification records and personal notification preferences are retained.
