PayBlah moved from design into engineering. The application foundation is up, the in-house demo book is live, and the first screens — dashboard, invoice register, reminders — are working software rather than pictures of software.
What “working” means here
It means you can sign in, see overdue money with honest attribution language, open a customer, and follow a reminder Workflow that stops when it should. It does not mean every edge case is finished, or that every integration is live with production vendor credentials.
We would rather ship a truthful empty state than a fake green “connected” badge. That standard is slower to screenshot and faster to trust.
What is in flight
- Spreadsheet import today; accounting connectors (Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage) coming soon
- Workflows with stop-on-payment / reply / dispute behaviour
- Customer portal and payment-link flows on eligible plans
- Tenant isolation and the safety controls that never become paid upgrades
Plan limits on the marketing site now match how the product meters capacity: a count of active overdue invoices and seats. Text messaging is still marked coming soon. See Pricing.
What we will not claim
No invented collection rates. No “usually takes one reminder” promises. PayBlah is designed to chase politely and stop on payment, reply, or dispute — outcomes still depend on your customers and your books.
