Keep the chase list honest
Not every business runs cloud accounting yet. Some run a careful spreadsheet that already works. PayBlah’s import path is for that reality: upload CSV or XLS, map columns, remember the layout next time.
Duplicate detection is there so one customer does not become three. Manual entry covers one-offs between imports.
When you later move to Xero or QuickBooks Online, you can connect for ongoing sync instead of re-uploading forever.
What this is not
- Not a live two-way sync with Excel Online by default — you re-upload when the book changes
- Not magic cleanup of messy source data; garbage in still needs a human eye
- Not a substitute for proper books when you are ready for them
